LG may be slightly behind its big rival Samsung on the Android front, but it seems it's planning to make amends with the LU2300, a fully-featured Android handset packing a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

Pictures of the phone have leaked on to the internet via a Korean website, showing off its 3.5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

Also on board is the latest Android 2.1 OS, a 5 megapixel camera with HD video capabilities, GPS and geotagging, Wi-Fi and DivX file support.

Now there's only one thing missing – a release date outside of Korea. Currently Korea will be seeing it in April or May, but there's no mention of release date for the UK, or if it'll even make it over here.

We do hope so. While the InTouch Max GW620 was great for those on a budget, we want an LG Android phone with a bit of full-featured oomph to rival the Samsung Galaxy S. Make it happen, LG?
