Widgetry and gadgetry website Paramount Zone has announced its intention to stock two new exciting AV products, although not until late-August.
The Rimax Virtual Vision 3.0 is the kind of thing we thought we'd all be using to indulge our Lawnmower Man fantasies by now…but aren't. They use tiny LCD displays, but very close to your eyes, to create the impression of a big screen. Or even head-spinning total immersion. 'It's like I'm totally there, dude'. Where, dude? Wherever: you can plug all manner of sources into the Virtual Vision, including DVD, consoles or even TV. There's wee headphones built-in, but the best news is the price: £140.
Also for your techy travel kit, you might like to try Rimax Wireless Speakers. Battery powered, wireless-over-RF stereo speakers that'll stop you getting tangled up in hotel rooms across the globe. Or in your study. The price for this freedom of speaker placement is only £60, but the sound quality has, as yet, not been ascertained.
But, be sure that these two gadgets are added to the very top of the list of things we bite the postman's leg for every day, and so will offer up more details (or even an opinion) as soon as we can.
In the meantime, if you want to check out the website that these products will be on in late-August, but are not on yet, you can click here.
