Kodak launches aquatic Playfull waterproof camera

Kodak unveils its latest water and funds-friendly pocketcam

The weather's looking decidedly autumnal now – so what better time to announce a waterproof camera? That's exactly what Kodak thought when choosing to unleash its deplorably named Playfull camera into the cold and wet.

This 720p pocketcam comes fully stocked with a 2in screen, 2x digital zoom, a paltry 18MB of internal memory and thankfully an SD/SDHC card slot for up to 32GB of additional storage. That will get you up to 10 hours of HD footage at 30fps, in up to 10 feet of water, as well as a bucketload of 1MP stills. The Playfull also features a Share button and pop-out USB arm à la Flip, to help you get your videos on YouTube as fast as humanly possible.

It won't just survive the water either – the Playfull can also ward off dust and will be able to brush itself off following a 5-foot drop.

While you probably won't be heading to your local lido with it for now, if you've got a sunny beach break planned you can pick up the Kodak Playfull up for the pocket-friendly price of £80 in either a white or black overcoat.
