iPhone 5 wants to be your PA

Get me a latte. Stat. And make it skinny

What do you get when you add the sighting of a new iOS feature called ‘Assistant’ with Apple’s purchase last year of iPhone app developers Siri, whose app uses voice control and location data to act as your personal gofer? A lot lazier, we’ll bet. Over at 9to5mac, they have dug around and found leaked screenshots of iPhone test units to kickstart the rumours and it’s about time Apple stepped up the voice recognition game.

We can’t wait for ‘Assistant’ to plan our lives for us – booking tickets and taxis and inviting friends to events based on our location. There’s also signs that ‘Assistant’ will be able to speak back to us but no word as yet on Mr T’s availability for the voiceover session.
