iPhone 5 pre-orders start on September 12th with UK rollout in October
Hold onto your iLifeJackets folks, the rumour rapids are approaching thick and fast, this time with a pre-order date to look forward to
The iPhone 5 has already received a tentative September 21st release date and had its internal motherboard stripped out for all the world to see, and now Apple site iMore reports that US gadgeteers can pre-order the iPhone 5 on September 12 – the date when it will allegedly be revealed to the world.
However, UK Apple fans will have to join the rest of the world in waiting a little longer to wrap their hands around Apple’s latest superphone, with October 5th being touted as the rest-of-world release date.
As always we recommend dousing all iPhone 5 rumours in near-lethal levels of salt – but a September is looking increasingly like a certainty.
