iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S specs confirmed?

The specs for Apple’s next blower may have been revealed at the 11th hour

A US regional carrier may have leaked the finalised specs for the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S, mere days before Apple’s official unveiling event on Tuesday 4th of October. TUAW has provided screenshots from a section of Cincinnati Bell’s website which displays the specs for both of the purported new handsets – a development that will ease worriers of a 4S-only release.

Although now pulled, the listed specs for the iPhone 5 consisted of 32GB of memory, a 4in screen, an 8MP camera and 4G data compatibility. We can only assume that an A5 processor is also on the cards, as it’s listed under the iPhone 4S’s specs in addition to a 5MP camera, 16GB of storage and 3.5in screen.

The absence of any images suggests that these details may just have been placeholders on the carrier’s site, but the information certainly seems to add up with what we expect to be unveiled at tomorrow’s event. Either way, the finishing line for the speculation appears to be drawing to a merciful close.
