Little more than a week has passed since UK iPhone Day and the new rumours have already started – will a 3G iPhone be unveiled at MacWorld 2008?Well if you ask us, no, but an Italian website has claimed that ‘highly reliable sources’ have ‘confirmed’ the suped-up iPhone will be available exclusively on Vodafone from next spring. Sounds like they were codenamed Red Fox and swapped a briefcase in a park to us.Still, if there were any truth in the rumour we imagine Apple would celebrate the iPhone’s first birthday with the announcement at MacWorld 2008 and a launch sometime around May. But that wouldn’t be without its problems. For starters the price and battery life will need to be at acceptable levels and we can imagine it’d cause a few tantrums from O2, which has a 2-year exclusive on the current EDGE-only iPhone. Let’s hope it checked the smallprint.Essentials Apple iPhone 3G Price: £TBA On sale: TBA Contact: Apple Related stories: Review: Apple iPhone UK Win an iPhone goodie pack Diamonds are an iPhone’s best friend
