Sure it's basic, but throwing this in would finally give the iPhone an air of respectability. The lack of copy and paste has been an issue since day one and sticking it in now would at least go some way to sating our urge for more functional messaging.

Picture messaging

Sure there are 3rd party apps that can do this, but the fact is we want to see Apple give it a go themselves. Picture messaging might be the coolest feature, but like copy and paste, it's so ubiquitous that to continue leaving it out would be a crime.

Tethering

Letting you use your iPhone to hop online via your PC or Mac would mean no need for a dongle or shelling out extra for a mobile broadband deal. Of course, if this happens, Apple will charge. But at least it will cut down on clutter and give the iPhone more business appeal.

Proper stereo Bluetooth

A complaint we often hear at Stuff Towers about the iPhone is the lack A2DP. This would only require a software update, so surely Apple can make this happen and make those enamoured with using their mobile in their car happy. Here's hoping.

Flash compatibility

Adobe has said they're up for getting Flash onto the iPhone. Apple seems pretty nonplussed. Putting it in would surely be a wise move – the web browser is already the best out there on a mobile, adding Flash would make it even better.
