iPad 2 price drops to £330
Apple’s second-generation slate has slipped in price – but only £70 less than the latest model

If you’re readying your wallet for a disemboweling to pay for the new iPad, wait just a second and consider the iPad 2, which is now £70 cheaper after a price drop which makes it £330 for the 16GB Wi-Fi model and £430 for the 16GB 3G version.
It might not have quite as fast a core as the A5X toting new model, nor the 264ppi Retina Display – but it’ll still do everything you could need it to.
Apart from high-res games optimised for the new iPad’s Retina Display, which should crop up soon, the power, battery life and screen of the iPad 2 is more than enough to keep most people happy – plus you get an extra £70 to play with.
