HTC One X software update rolls out

It's time to feed your beloved new smartphone its first dose of software update goodness

If you’ve got an unlocked HTC One X then you’ll be glad to hear that its first official software update is locked and loaded, ready to beam its way into the innards of your new pocket powerhouse.

Just hit up Settings, About, then Software updates to install the new update, which brings with it a few minor bug fixes, tweaked auto-brightness settings and improvements which should help out the battery life.

If you’ve got a network-locked HTC One X then you might have to wait a little while longer for the update. Still haven’t jumped aboard the quad-core bandwagon? Check out our in-depth HTC One X review to see if you’ll be tempted by HTC’s flagship One Series beast.
