As the day of gadget giving inches ever closer, the nation quivers with anticipation. Will Santa deliver an Eee PC, an iPod Touch, a Nintendo Wii? I hope you get everything you wish for, dear readers.
Of course, at Stuff Towers pretty much every day is like Christmas, with a fresh delivery of boxes to open, new toys to play with and liver-threatening amounts of alcohol on a daily basis.
So when it comes to Christmas, I'm content with a garish jumper and some new socks, safe in the knowledge that on the 5th of January I'll be flying out to Las Vegas to cover the massive Consumer Electronics Show, where the gadget hits (and flops) of 2008 will be unveiled.
Then a week later it's up to San Francisco to Macworld, where Steve Jobs is likely to announce the demise - and rebirth - of Apple's last white product, the MacBook. Which is why I'm dreaming of a brushed aluminium Christmas. Or maybe a matt black one.
Merry Christmas to you all!
