IFA 2011 is set to kick off and already we've garnered a giant stack of pre-show titbits. So here's a taste of what's coming your way over the next few days.

Samsung is going phone and tablet crazy with its new naming convention and three new phones carrying its own Bada OS, the Wave 3, Wave Y and Wave M. New superfast LTE-connected variants of existing products are coming – the Galaxy S II LTE and Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE. Meanwhile, there are rumblings about a Galaxy Note, which could be another name for the expected 5.3in Q Tab phone hybrid.

A whopping eight new phones are expected from HTC, including HTC Kingdom, also know as the EVO Design 4G or Acquire, HTC Vigor and Windows Phone 7 Mango device, the HTC Omega. Meanwhile HTC's Sense UI 3.5 has also been outed.

IFA's always big for home cinema, and LG won't disappoint. It's already brought us early news of its 26mm thick 3DTV the LG LW9800, LG PZ850T Pentouch 3D TV, and LG HX906TX Blu-ray home cinema surround system.

Accomplished earhole entertainer Monster has just announced its iSport in-ear 'phones, but we're expecting the launch of a whole new range, so keep your lugholes prepped.

We don't expect to be doing much driving at the show, but we're hoping to have a play with TomTom's GO LIVE social features, and find out when they're landing in the UK.

Meanwhile, there's likely to be some more widescreen action from Philips, as we're expecting a 3D version of its beautiful 21:9 cinema TV, and possibly even some tablet action.

Whatever you do, make sure you keep it locked to where we'll be bringing you all the latest news direct from IFA.
