HTC unveils Titan II smartphone at CES

HTC's new monolith features 4G LTE and 16MP camera

Didn't the HTC Titan only just come out, we hear you cry. Yes, but the Taiwanese manufacturer has wasted no time in rolling out an update to its giant Windows Phone 7 blower.

As you might expect, coming so soon after the original model, the Titan II is an incremental upgrade. So like its predecessor, the Titan's sporting a 4.7in screen and comes rocking a 1.5GHz processor.

The main upgrade comes in the form of 4G LTE connectivity – not much use for us in the UK, admittedly, but exciting news for those in the US.

More interestingly, the Titan II also arrives sporting a 16MP camera, a substantial improvement over the 8MP snapper in the original Titan, and a real rival to the 8MP camera that's been winning rave reviews for the iPhone 4S.

Stay tuned for all the latest news from CES.
