HP TouchPad to get Windows 8

Long live the TouchPad. Or at least keep it alive, seems a waste not to. HP seems to agree

On paper, the HP TouchPad was great. In reality it failed miserably. Despite HP pulling the device from production, the doomed TouchPad was kept alive by the love of WebOS fans.

Now HP plans to bring it back to life running Windows 8. Isn’t that just giving the finger to the WebOS fans that kept it alive?

We’re beyond trying to understand HP, but with all those TouchPads selling like hot cakes when they dropped in price, perhaps there will be plenty of non WebOS owners who welcome this Windows 8 move.
