We've been excited about the forthcoming HP Slate since Adobe outed a demo video of the tablet, and now more details have leaked suggesting it'll have an iPad-bashing price tag.
Reputable Spanish publication Clipset has reportedly obtained a price of €400 from HP itself, which if true, should see it undercut even the cheapest iPad offering.
The Windows 7 device is reported to pack a netbook-esque Atom processor, and will pack a memory card reader, USB connectivity, Flash support and camera on the back.
Internet rumours have tagged it for a June release, although availability in Europe is expected at some point "before September".
We'll have to wait and see European prices for the iPad and confirmed prices from HP before we start getting excited, but this is certainly looking promising.
