Apple's App Store doors have been flung open, and we've rushed in like diabetics in need of a sugar fix. There's no direct link within iTunes yet, but just open this link with the latest version of iTunes and you can browse around and download any of the free or paid for apps.

The photo above shows the App Store interface on the iPhone 3G – they're handily split into a Top 25 chart and Categories, or you can just do a search.

Of course, the easiest way to mosey round the app aisles in via iTunes on your computer, which the pic below shows. We'll be downloading and testing apps all afternoon and will bring you some reviews – so far our favourite finds are Super Monkey Ball, FaceBook, Typepad and OmniTuner, which turns your iPhone 3G into a guitar tuner.
