We’ve been practising our chords, doing voice exercises and learning the fills from Stairway to Heaven in anticipation of a multi–instrumental Guitar Hero 4. And now it looks as if the Gods of Rock have answered our game–based prayers.

The new version of everyone’s favourite party game, also dubbed Guitar Hero: World Tour, will feature a full drum kit with cymbals, pedals for your axe, as well as vocals.

What scares us most though is the plan to record your own tracks which you’ll be able to share with your buddies online. Is that taking it a step too far? Not at all!

A promo vid has made its way online and has got us primed and ready to rock. Okay, there’s no word on what tracks will feature, but we’re not fussed. As long as Rainbow rock up, we’re happy.
