Griffin Twenty adds AirPlay to your old speakers

Griffin's little white box gives some love to your non-powered speakers with AirPlay streaming

If you’ve got some much-loved old speakers that’ve been mouldering away in the corner because they don’t support Airplay, the Griffin Twenty is here to rescue them.

The dinky amp connects to your AirPort Express base station (via an included Toslink cable) and your existing non-powered speakers – it pumps out 20W per channel and can also drive a powered subwoofer if you want a bit more bass from your base station.

Pricing has yet to be announced, but you can sign up for more info at Griffin’s website.
