It's getting crowded in the luxury mobile phone market what with your Vertus and your Porsche Design phone, but Gresso already has some pedigree in the lux gadget market with its eye-wateringly expensive MP3 player. Now it's upped the stakes even more with not one but two, high-end handsets. The Luna (pictured) and Sol form the new Avantgarde collection. Both sport its trademark African blackwood outer sprinkled with gold (including the screws) and a sapphire crystal screen.Unlike other luxury mobiles they're actually quite capable, with 2MP cameras, Bluetooth and the spanking new Windows Mobile 6.0 smartphone OS, for the discerning tycoon. The cheapo Luna is a mere 5000 Euros (£3400) while the pricier Sol gets even more gold on its keypad to justify its 7000 Euro (£4750) asking price. Time to start trawling the back of the sofa.EssentialsGresso Avantgarde Luna, SolPrice: 5000 Euros, 7000 EurosOn sale: Q4 2007Contact: GressoRelated stories:STUFF EXCLUSIVE – Porsche Design debuts phone for oligarchsVertu revs up a Ferrari handsetThe world's most expensive MP3 player
