With all of the hype surrounding Google+ it’s been all too easy to overlook the Big G’s other nifty little tool, Google Takeout. Not an online fast-food ordering system as the name suggests, it’s actually a very useful way of exporting various information from contacts and photos into portable and open formats. Whether you want a local backup of your important saved Stuff articles or are migrating to another service, all you’ll need is a couple of clicks for some instant piece of mind.
