Google+ stops invites

The latest social network craze has gone so – well – crazy, that Google has stopped inviting new users. Marketing plan much?

Google+ was Eric Schmidt’s way to beat Facebook at its own game, while snagging him a few friends in the process. But he hadn’t banked on being so popular. As a result of "insane demand" Google stopped inviting new users last night. If this is a plan to cut supply and increase demand, it’s certainly working as Google+ invites are already starting to appear on eBay. We very much doubt the mighty Google servers are much less capable than the never-down Facebook warhorses. Sitting tight should result in a chance to get your Google+ account soon. The one you weren’t bothered about but now can’t wait for. See, it works. No idea what was just said? Here's Google+ explained in a nutshell.
