If you've been impatiently waiting for the Xbox 360 and PS3 to catch up with the Wii and DS on the Goldeneye franchise front, you can stop biting your nails. GoldenEye 007: Reloaded has been completely remade in HD for both consoles. But rather than being a remake of Rare's N64 classic, it's a completely new title created by Eurocom. That means Daniel Craig instead of Pierce Brosnan, who thankfully sports a tux as opposed to those signature figure-hugging swim pants.
As well as rehashing the Wii game's story with updated visuals, it also introduces a new MI6 Ops Missions mode – a distinctly different set of levels set on new maps, complete with challenges that involve an assortment of assault, elimination, stealth and defence objectives.
GoldenEye Reloaded also improves on the multi-player, split-screen action with a new rewards system, as well as bringing 16-player online matches into the mix with more maps, weapons, characters and game modes then ever before. Move users get a look in, too, with the introduction of Move support, for gesture-based gameplay a la Wii.
It's due out in September in the US, with the UK due to get a look in shortly afterwards. Want to see a trailer? Thought so.
