There’s a wide spectrum of looks in our office (from indie kids and Russell Brand-esque foppishness to cycling chic) but one garment unites us all: the humble t-shirt. Thank the lord then that I’ve just discovered Sharpshirter. Inspired by the same commitment to unusual designs as our beloved Threadless but less inclined to indulge in overt cutesiness, it’s the brainchild of a 21-year-old college student from Washington USA. It’s such a labour of love that his mother mails the t-shirts when he’s away. It’s also great for gadgeteers because lots of the designs are available as 15in laptop skins. Why not dress your lacklustre lappy in the livery of a man punching a bear or stretch the image of the terrifying pirate squid across your chest?

Shirts cost $22 and they ship worldwide - you can pay by Paypal and they'll calculate the cost of shipping a shirt to you. Looks like it might be time for my wardrobe to get a refresh…
