But we’ve found a way round that, which also makes us feel like we’re in Space.The Star Trek voice activated light switch… er, activates your lights with your voice. You tell it how dim you’d like it and it'll happen. Installation is apparently a doddle and it’ll work with almost any type of light set-up and voice.The icing on the light cake, though, is its Trekness. It’s got a design familiar to anyone who watches the show(s), and has a computerised Majel Barrett Roddenberry bleeping back at you (she’s the one who does the computer’s voice on Star Trek: The Next Generation, and the other two after that).It’s available right now but you’ll have to import.
