We reckon the world of Bluetooth headsets is ready for a shake-up – and Sennheiser reckons it's the company to do it.It's turned its considerable attentions away from making top-class cans and microphones for a moment to craft this wire-free headset for audiophile mobile phone users.Available in two versions – the titanium model pictured, which is out first, or a black set bundled with a car charger and carry case arriving later – it's been stuffed to the gunnels with Sennheiser's audio know-how.It gets two mics – one for picking up your dulcet tones and the other for eliminating less dulcet background noise. The two-way speaker, lifted directly from its premium cans, doesn't need to be inserted inside the ear so should stay super-comfy, while the hinged boom serves as the on/off switch. We've had one clamped to our attuned ears and can confirm its acoustic prowess but we think we'll hold out for the pricier black version. Nothing to do with the added goodies, it just matches our jacket better.Essentials Sennheiser VMX 100 Titanium, Black Price: £80, £100 On sale: Now, TBA Contact: Sennheiser Related stories: Gadget of the Day – Aliph Jawbone STUFF ESSENTIALS – Bluetooth headphones Cops get tough on chatty motorists
