Ahh, there's nothing like quality hi-fi sound to distinguish your SPAS-12 shotgun from your .357 Magnum when indulging in a spot of Half Life 2.

Sennheiser reckons its new premium cans are the daddy for gamers, not only because of their downy-soft pads (gotta keep those ears comfy during an all-night session) but because their superior audio is just the thing for hunting down the enemy.

Sennheiser calls it Binaural Perception. We call it knowing which direction a sound came from. Either way, it claims these 'phones will gain you valuable microseconds of reaction time.

They're closed to eliminate any distracting outside disturbances, and will also do you for a spot of VOIP chatting or even good old fashioned listening to music.

There's more tech in that protruding mic too, with noise cancelling on board. All in all the perfect headset – which, at this price, it should be.
