We don't know whether to eat it or listen to it. Far too closely resembling a mini Toblerone dark, the latest pocket MP3 spinner from consummate makers, iriver, has arrived. The T60 is the smaller, more pocketable, brother to the long lasting T50. Like Samsung's forthcoming YP-E3, it'll play the open source Ogg Vorbis format beloved of audiophiles, as well as your standard MP3s and WMAs. Alas, with no AAC support, it won't share its sweets with Apple's new DRM-free iTunes Plus tracks. There's an FM radio and voice recorder thrown in and, um, a photo viewer, which is great if you like looking at thumbnail size BMPs (no, not conventional JPEGs, it doesn't show 'em).It requires just a single AAA battery to keep it pumped for up to 20 hours of play so it's easy to keep it juiced on your travels and is available now in dark black or all white – depending on your chocolate taste, presumably.Essentials iriver T60 1GB, 2GB, 4GB Price: £60, £70, £100 On sale: Now Contact: Advanced MP3 Players Related stories: Gadget of the Day – iriver Clix 2 Gadget of the Day – iriver X20 iriver T50 – for 52 hour party people
