What we know about Aiaiai can be written on the back of a slightly crumpled postage stamp. They hail from Denmark, turn up at random electronica events with a towable boombox and design these rather delectable Swirl earphones. But then what more do we need to know of these enigmatic Danes? Their Aiaiai Swirls get their name from the coiled chord section that differentiates them from the near-identical No Swirl. Seems logical.Available in industrial orange, traditional black or camo 'olive' (pictured) they promise sweet full-spectrum sounds, from deep bass to crisp trebles, and a comfy fit thanks to swappable soft-foam or latex plugs, which also do a mean job of blocking out unwanted sound.Naturally, as they're made in Denmark, they're only available online from international experts AudioCubes in the, er, States. It's that or catch a ferry over to Copenhagen and hammer on Aiaiai's door with 55 Euros. We hear it's lovely this time of year.EssentialsAIAIAI Swirl earphonesPrice: £42 including shippingOn sale: NowContact: AIAIAI / AudioCubesRelated stories:Gadget of the Day – Monster iFreePlayHigh-class Denons for high-class ear 'olesShure-ly the best earphones in the world?
