We just can't get our fill of new cameras at the moment. No sooner has Nikon served up their new Coolpix snappers, than Fujifilm has outed their immense new FinePix F200EXR, which looks as if it could have give traditional compacts a real going over.
The big draw here is the inclusion of Fuji's "Super CCD sensor", which they reckon will serve up crisper, sharper images without the dreaded noise you find on most diddy cameras when you start blowing your pictures up.
That means that you can leave your SLR at home for the time being, especially as the new model has a feature list to keep the most ardent amateur busy for ages. You'll find a 12MP sensor, 3in LCD round the back for spying your handiwork, plus 5fps burst mode, 28mm wide angle lens and 5x zoom.
As ever, word on a release date or price for this piece of camera wizardry remains more elusive than a London bus on a snowy morning. Still, it promises to be a belter when it does finally hit the shelves.
