We heard all about Samsung's bada OS late last year, and it seems we'll be seeing the first of its handsets at Mobile World Congress in just a few days, possibly packing some shiny new screen tech.
As MWC is the biggest event on the mobile calendar, it was pretty predictable that this would be the case, but Samsung has now confirmed on the Samsung Unpacked website that "on 2.14 a new mobile from Samsung is born. See it first in Barcelona."
In case the oceanic themed page wasn't hint enough (bada means ocean in Korean), Samsung is also linking to the page from its bada website.
Engadget had a sneaky look at the teaser site's source, which uncovers the keywords "bada", "smartphone" and "AMOLED".
This all but confirms we'll be seeing Samsung's new "Super AMOLED" screen tech in the new handset, a screen said to be 5 time clearer and offer 20% better visibility when outside.
We'll be flying out early Sunday morning and will be at the Samsung press conference to get the first look at the handset, so keep it locked for our hands on snaps and first impressions.
