Well might Norman Cook stare wistfully into the English channel – it’s a frightening ten years since he was at his Rockafeller Skank peak, and to commemorate he’s co-produced these B&W speakers.

The artwork on the ‘601 Fatboys’ is from his Why Try Harder greatest hits album, which has been snapped up by enough Britpop nostalgics to see it get into the top 10 album chart.

The speakers themselves are based on B&W’s 600 series range, which means a one-inch dome tweeter, a neighbour-annoying 120W output and an all-round stonking musical pedigree.

It’s unlikely that you’ll get to hear Praise You blaring out from a set of ‘601 Fatboys’ anytime soon, though – only 100 have been made, and Norman will be presenting that lot to friends and colleagues from the music business. Fine, we didn’t want them anyway.
