The new feature has been rolled out gradually over the past few weeks, but is now officially available to all Facebook users.
When writing a status you want to tag a friend in, you'll simply need to write the @ symbol followed by the person's name.
A drop down menu of all your friends will then appear as you type, so you can just click the person you want. Once published, the @ sign will disappear, and the name will become a link to the person's profile.
The person mentioned will also get a notification, and a copy of the status on their wall.
So what do you think to the new feature? It's currently getting mixed reactions in the Stuff office – let us know your thoughts below.
