Facebook Home beta for Android slips out

Want to try out Facebook’s new phone launcher before it’s officially released?

Facebook Home, the integrated launcher for Android announced last week, isn’t coming out until 12 April. However, if you’re insanely keen to see what Zuckerberg and his minions have wrought you’re in luck: a pre-release beta is available right now.

You can grab the Facebook Home beta over at MoDaCo, but be warned: it’s a leaked beta and not the finished, polished article. It won’t support devices with resolutions of more than 1280 x 768, requires a bit more fiddling to install than the average Play app and doesn’t offer the launcher’s “Chat Heads” feature.
