Multi-room wireless speaker systems don’t normally come cheap. So expensive are some that we’ve knocked down walls rather than splash out on the pricey tech.Luckily for your insurance company – or more importantly, your safety – Eos’ new iPod speaker system could save any impromptu DIY and do wonders for the structural sturdiness of your gaff. Its new dock will ship for just $300 when it launches in the States in March. The streamer has a 150-foot range, so even mansion dwellers can benefit. Or perhaps you want music streamed to the garden shed; all you need to do is add extra speakers at $130 a pop. You can have up to four registered to each base station and it’s described as ‘Wi-Fi friendly’ so we assume it won’t interfere with your home network. For garden-based musical high jinks, there’s even a waterproof outdoor amp option. No word on a UK release at the moment, but we think it’s worth shipping one over, if only to save our last remaining walls.
