The new Eee PC 900 will still come loaded with Linux but with 1GB of memory and what we're promised will be a faster processor, it's now ripe for turning into a fully fledged Windows XP machine.
Asus says it's already sold 350,000 of the original Eees but its successor could prove even more popular. The screen's been boosted to 8.9in and now gets a more eye-pleasing 1024x600 resolution.
Overall it's only slightly larger and thicker, with an identical keyboard but a bigger touch pad. And the hard drive's grown too, now offering up to 12GB of space.
We'll be getting extra details later in the week, so keep an eye out for more.
