Dynamode bestows Bluetooth cans on the iPod

It was almost an honour to get in a tangle with the white wires of the iPod’s earphones in its early days, but now they’re being consigned to history by Bluetooth cans. The latest is this pair from Dynamode.

The BT-SHS-W’s have a 3.5mm dongle to connect to your player, and can also act as hands-free ‘phones for your mobile.

Battery life is a around six and a half hours – only half that of the Motorola HT820s – but they do have integrated music buttons and will work 15m away from your ‘Pod, which is handy if you have a particularly long neck.

The styling is fairly standard – there’s none of the Saitek A-350’s sci-fi chic – but they are one of the few pairs that have a matching Apple paint-job, if colour-coordination’s your bag.

They’ll be on sale from Dynamode’s site for a reasonable £60 later this month.
