So you've got your 24in iMac just sat there looking pretty. How about sticking on a few Blu-ray movies? Not an option if you ask Apple, it's still not built a next generation SuperDrive. Get on the blower to the chaps at FastMac, however, and they’ll offer you a Mac compatible Blu-ray drive ready to slip into an iMac, MacBook Pro or Mac Mini.Sadly its slot loading mechanism doesn't dig top of the range Mac Pros, so your 30in Cinema HD set-up will have to wait. It's not MacBook friendly either, but for everybody else it offers a colossal 50GB of data on meaty double-layer BD discs and full Blu-ray movie playback. For the price, you could just buy a PS3 for your hi-def viewing needs – but then you wouldn't be able to burn 60 days' worth of music or four hours of HD video from your Mac onto a single disc, would you?
