Serial mobile phone bling artist Alexander Amosu has unveiled his latest creation – a £20,000 diamond-encrusted iPhone. A world-first, we’re told.Famed for his lavish modifications, Amosu has given gold and diamond makeovers to iPods, Sony Ericssons, Motorolas, the LG Prada, Samsungs and even the odd Nokia. Handsets fit for a King… or premier league footballers, at least. The sparkling limited edition iPhone has 420 cut diamonds – a total of 5.65 carats. For that, you also get a year’s cover with Amosu’s exclusive international concierge service – so if you accidentally drop it down the loo while visiting the Beckhams you’ll be sent a new one in no time. There's also a simple gold-plated version which comes in at £1,000, if you’re looking for a slightly cheaper option. “The type of phone you have speaks a lot about your lifestyle and ambition,” said Amosu, lavishly. He went on to tell Stuff.tv his next piece will be a diamond-encrusted Blackberry Curve. The diamond iPhone goes on sale on November 9, with prices starting at £20,000. You can grab one, or two if you like, at Selfridges and on the Amosu website.
