US$4,284 per litre. That's the average cost of printer ink, and it's a staggering 1000x more expensive per litre than beer.
And you can't even drink it.
That makes printer ink one of the most expensive liquids on Earth, and designer Celeste Watson has decided to reflect the absurdity of paying so much (for what is essentially coloured water), by repackaging HP printer ink into Chanel No.5-inspired packaging.
We have to admit, we rather like it, and at least this way we'd be getting a nice bottle for our money.
Now if you'll excuse us, we're off to siphon sriracha sauce into diamond vials.
Something as delicious as that needs a container worthy of its tongue-tingling fiery garlic flavour.
