Some very interesting snaps of new Dells have been floating around for a while now without any hint of whether they were bona fide but it seems now that they are indeed the genuine article.Normally Dell is as tight as a cat's bum on new product information but over on the official Dell blog, the company’s Digital Media Manager, Lionel Menchaca buried this news deep in a long post on something completely unrelated: 'We normally wouldn’t have said this in the past,' she writes, 'but we have some very cool PCs being introduced later this month.'She goes on to link to the above image of the new Inspiron line-up and another shot of the svelte Dell XPS m1330 13.3in lappy. There are still no official deets on the specs but strong rumours suggest the Inspirons will include the 15.4in 1520, 17in 1720 and a new 14in 1420 specced from a budget 1.73GHz Celeron M with Intel graphics up to a Santa Rosa 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo with a gaming-friendly 256MB GeForce 8600M graphics card. Cheaper 1521 and 1721 versions will also be available with AMD chips. The M1330 is thought to be getting the Santa Rosa treatment up to 2.4GHz and optional GeForce Go 8400M GS graphics.More importantly we're hearing that Blu-Ray will be available across the range. All eyes on the Dell website for the end of the month announcement then. A little bird tells us the 26th might be a good day to watch out on.EssentialsDell Inspiron 1420, 1520, 1720, 1521, 1721, XPS m1330Price: £TBAOn sale: TBAContact: DellRelated stories:Sony's CR Vaios add a splash of colourTosh says: HD DVD all round!Tree-hugging Dell goes green
