Along with an Eee PC matching name, the E also comes toting an 8.9in screen. There appear to be three models – the E Classic, the E Video and the E Video+. The latter comes chock full of heftier RAM, with Bluetooth and web video capabilities.
They’re all slated for August, with WiMAX rocking versions ready to hit the streets in October. Every model will come with either XP or Linux, meaning Dell is the latest big player to give Vista a wide berth.
Like it’s own bod’, details on the E Slim remain thin on the ground. We do know it comes in at 0.8in, so is slightly fatter than the Air and the new record holder, the Voodoo Envy 133. It’s due to drop in September, but don’t expect it to destroy your finances in the same way as its rivals.
We’re chasing up Dell for details on pricing and when we’ll be seeing more of these in the UK, so stay locked to Stuff.tv for more details.
