Fancy buying something from the Museum of Modern Art? Those Willem de Kooning masterpieces are a bit dear these days, but a more realistic buy are these watches from Danish designer Flemming Bo Hansen.

Some of his original timepiece designs – including the ingeniously titled ‘Watch’ from 1989 – are on display in New York’s finest museum, and these latest models carry on the minimalist unisex theme.

Don’t worry, Flemming hasn’t run out of inspiration on the name front either. On the left is ‘Watch III’. It costs £145, has a stainless steel bracelet and, in a revolutionary move, tells the time and date using its four digits. Now that’s what we call convergence.

Not quite feeling Watch III? Have a look at the analogue ‘Watch IV’ on the right. It’s fashioned from stainless steel, has a tough mineral glass face and is a little cheaper at £100. If neither of those appeal, we suggest dressing up as Andy Warhol and stealing the original from MoMa – it might work.
