Promising a package that’s “smart, attractive and entertaining”, The Daily is Rupert Murdoch’s new vision of a newspaper for the digital age. There’s no mention of accuracy in the leaked press release, but that’s never stopped News Corp before and, like The Times and The Sun’s paywalled websites, you’ll have to get your wallet out to read it (US$40 a year).
The downloadable app (US-only, it looks like) will have a two-week taster period, after which subscriptions are mandatory.
