While the sheriff would like to see the entire category removed, Craigslist is opting to contain the problem. It currently charges between $5-10 (£3.50-7) for each erotic advert, with the money going to combat sex trafficking and child exploitation.
The case is unlikely to go far, as American law makes it fairly to prosecute web services for content posted by its users.
