Time to paint the pitlane green with envy
Christopher Ward’s new C700 Grand Rapide is the British watchmaker’s most ambitious timepiece yet.
The motorsport-inspired watch features a carbon-fibre dial and a rubber strap with a carbon weave effect that’ll draw envious glances in the pitlane – even if you’re walking back to your tired old family wagon.
Despite being designed in Britain, the C700 is made in Switzerland and features a Swiss Sellita SW500 automatic movement. If the rubber strap’s pushing it a bit too Top Gear for you, there’s also the option of a leather strap or steel bracelet (£60 extra).
It’s available for pre-order from Christopher Ward’s website and will cost from £800.
