By shrinking down the technology and switching to battery power, this new pocket player, named Daisy, means you need never be without your fix of the Mexican Chris Moyles or Chinese Terry Wogan.

Intempo reckons its cells are good for a handsome 20 hours of Wi-Fi listening and, should you stray from a wireless network, there's trusty old FM on board too.

Given the patchy nature of Wi-Fi, we're not sure how much use we'd get with this while out and about, but certainly the option to roam from bathroom to kitchen to living room with a global radio in tow is an attractive one.

It'll be available this April. Let's hope it's not some sort of elaborate April Fool.
