CES: go goggle-eyed for the Liquid Image mask

Just concentrating on breathing is normally enough to worry about when swimming under 50bar of pressure with large creatures of the deep floating nearby. Holding a camera isn't high on our list of priorities.

Now, however, our close scrapes with vicious-looking sea bass and dangerously pointy coral can be recorded via the ingenious – if desperately unfashionable – Liquid Image mask.

Up top is a built-in cam capable of up to 5MP stills or full-on video, saved to its paltry 16MB memory or to MiniSD card. Cunning crosshairs on the goggle lenses help you line up the shot.

We'll be booking our expenses-paid trip to the Bahamas for an in-depth, long-term review on this just as soon as we can. Until then, check out the clips on the website below.
