Bored with Heart? Not hip enough for pirate radio stations? What else is there to listen to when you're driving? Nothing, except a whole world of internet radio according to miRoamer and Blaupunkt. The two companies have teamed up to produce the world's first internet radio. Sounds impressive, except that it's actually a bit of a fudge.

Rather than the radio itself streaming internet goodies, it connects via Bluetooth with your phone to stream stations, just like a handsfree kit. But as long as you're packing an unlimited data package, it's a good way to broaden your drivetime horizons with over 16,000 stations available. You can customise your presets just like any other radio and choose stations through genre, location or mood.

Available in the second half of 2009, miRoamer also promise to make IPTV and video content available through the device. Probably one best enjoyed while parked, eh?
