Samsung's been at the touchscreen PMP races for ages now, and with competition getting stiffer by the month, the Koreans have unveiled their new effort, the P3. And it sure is going to face stiff competition from the likes of Sony's new X series Walkman.

Rocking haptic feedback, the player comes with a 16:9 screen, measuring a plentiful 3in. It'll fit in your pocket nicely too, thanks to it's 0.39in bod'. Plus there's plenty of space for stashing music and video, with 32GB models available for media hounds everywhere. For those who fancy something a little dinkier, there are also 4GB, 8GB, 16GB editions.

There's also the same UI sa the Samsung Tocco, meaning you can customise the front page to your heart's content.

Samsung also claims that it'll be resistant to wear and tear thanks to a die–cast metal casing. It's due to drop in matte black and matte silver in the first half of 2009, so keep your eyes peeled folks.
