Samsung followed the trend for brighter, lighter and thinner by unveiling their new range of LED TVs for 2009.

Using LEDs as their primary light source, the TVs have ultra-high contrast ratios and are super slim – just over an inch thick.

Flagship model the 8000 offers a speedy refresh rate of 240Hz – four times the rate of your common or garden front room telly and great for gaming, while the 7000 and 6000 are still respectably swift at 120Hz.

All three LED TVs will come with internet capability using your wired or wireless Ethernet and onscreen content from Yahoo!, Flickr and YouTube including RSS and IPTV widgets.

The sexy TVs will come in a number of designs with ruby or black bezels and a slim wall mounting system so they hang like a picture in your bachelor pad.
